Basil microgreens are one of the more difficult and slower-growing types of microgreens, but the delicious flavour is well worth the wait. The microgreen form of basil tastes just as flavourful as matured basil, if not more. They grow to be approximately 5 to 7 cm in length and have light-coloured stems with tender purple and green leaves. Basil microgreens are packed with far more nutrients than matured basil and are popularly used as a garnish in dishes like pasta, pizza, and salad.
